Right of Withdrawal — General

If you are a consumer purchasing at a distance, you generally have 14 days after receipt of the product to withdraw from the contract without giving reasons.

To exercise this right, notify us clearly within the withdrawal period at contact@velumdoors.com.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek), the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised
• Custom-made door systems manufactured to your measurements
• Products that have been installed or altered at your request after delivery
• Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed

Custom-Made Products

This product is made to your specifications. Under Dutch consumer law, custom-made goods are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal. Returns are not accepted once production has started.

Before completing your purchase, you must confirm that you understand this exception and that your measurements are correct.

This notice appears on the product page, during checkout, and in your order confirmation email.

Standard (Non-Custom) Products

If a standard catalogue item is not made to your specifications and is returned unused in original packaging within 14 days, we will refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Return shipping costs for standard items are borne by the consumer unless otherwise agreed.
